Sen. Aguirre to Host Mental Health Provider Summit in Yuma

STATE CAPITOL, Phoenix – Sen. Amanda Aguirre (D-24), a member of the Governor's Team on Mental Health, will be hosting a mental health provider summit on April 24 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Community Intervention Associates in Tuscany Plaza at 2851 S. Avenue B, Building #4, Yuma, Ariz. Mental health providers from Yuma and La Paz counties are encouraged to attend.

“As part of the Governor’s team on mental health, it is vital to communicate directly with providers to help look for ways to provide mental health services to Yuma and La Paz counties,” said Sen. Amanda Aguirre (D-24). “I encourage providers to attend and share their ideas for me to take back to the rest of the team.”

Sen. Aguirre is the ranking Democratic member of the Senate Health Committee and was appointed to the newly developed Governor’s Team on Mental Health by Governor Jan Brewer.
